General Information
Information on uniform, transport, school fees, books, SPHE and RSE, work experience, summer reports, Compass, and the academic calendar for the next academic year is available below.
School Uniform
Our school uniform was reviewed in 2024-25, please note the changes that have been made. I would draw particular attention to school skirts, trousers and jackets.
- Any pupil who wants to wear the school skirt must purchase the new skirt (below the knee) unless their current skirt length is to the knee.
- All pupils wearing skirts must pair them with black socks or black opaque tights (50 denier upwards).
- Green school trousers are no longer part of the school uniform, and should not be purchased or worn by pupils.
- The school jacket is compulsory for all junior pupils (1st, 2nd and 3rd year). While a school jacket is not compulsory for senior pupils, if your child intends on wearing a jacket to school, this is the only jacket that will be permitted to be worn in school.
- There are no compulsory school crested PE uniform items to be purchased.
- Full detail on our school uniform is available here – https://stoliverpps.ie/uniform/
School Buses and Transport
- You are requested to bring your child to, and collect them from, school on the 27th and 28th August.
- School buses will run as normal from Monday 31st August 2026.
- For School Transport information contact Bus Eireann on www.buseireann.ie
School Fees and Payments
- School Fees of €210 (TY is €480) must be paid on full by Way2Pay before the 17th August, 2026.
- School fees cover School Insurance, Locker, Text messages, Activities & Trips, Mock Exams (Cost spread over all years).

School Books and materials
- The Book Grants from the DES provides funds for schools to supply as many materials as possible to pupils in order for them to study and prepare for their education. As such, it is our intention to provide books, workbooks, exam papers, and a supply of some stationery (copybooks, hardbacks, dictionaries) calculators, school journal, subject specific equipment and so on, to our pupils.
- This material remains the property of the school and can be requested for return at any time.
- All schoolbooks will need to be returned at the end of the 3-year junior cycle, and 2-year senior cycle.
- School Books and materials will be provided ONCE ONLY, any materials that are lost or damaged will have to be replaced at a cost to parents.
- Parents are asked to ensure ALL School Books provided have your child’s name on them, on a white label on the front cover.
- Parents are asked to purchase stationery items for their child. These are listed on the Book List link below.
- 1st Year School Book Collection will take place on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th August – see ‘Starting School Letter for 1st years’ above for specific time slots.
- We intend to hand out schoolbooks to our existing pupils (2nd – 6th year) over the first 5 days of school.

Work Experience for LCAs and TYs
- All information relating to LCA and TY Work experience has already been shared with pupils via TEAMs.
- All work experience documents are also available on our school website.
- Go to Information and go down to Work Experience Information.
Summer Reports
- Summer Reports are now available on Compass.
Compass
- It is crucial that at least 1 parent or guardian is accessing compass regularly in order to provide permission for trips and activities, explain absences, receive school updates and so on. Parents/Guardians are able to update their own mobile number and email on compass if needs be, and this should definitely be taken care of.
- If you need advice or assistance re Compass, please email our school office and provide the relevant details, we will follow up as soon as we can.
Academic Calendar
- The academic calendar for next year has already been shared via compass, and is also accessible here – https://stoliverpps.ie/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/School-Calendar-2026-3rd-Final-20.05.2026-for-journal.pdf
Wishing you all a healthy and happy summer.
